Introduction: Our Commitment To Your Privacy
Collection of general data
With each access to this service, data is gathered automatically by us or the webspace-provider. This information, also called server log files, is of general nature and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Among others, the following is collected: name of the website, page or file, date, amount of data, web browser and version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the referring URL (the page, from which you accessed our service) and the IP-Address.
Without this data it would not always be possible to correctly deliver and display the content of this webpage. Therefore the collection of such data is necessitated. We also use this anonymous data for statistical purposes. It helps us to optimize our offerings and technology. We also reserve the right to inspect the log files if there is suspicion of non-lawful use.
Personal data is defined as all data that can be used to unambiguously identify a person. This is the type of data, which can be traced back to an individual.
Personal data includes:first name and last name, telephone number, email-address, address. Further personal data is data regarding hobbies, memberships and preferences, as well as internet sites that were visited.
The provider will only collect, use, and possibly share this kind of data if it is explicitly allowed by law, of if the user agrees to the collection, processing, usage, or sharing.
Registration on this website
If you register on this website, to have access to personalized services, personal data will be collected. Among this are the name, address, telephone number, and email-address, to serve as contact information and a means to communicate with you.
The registration allows access to services and content that is only available to registered users. If needed, registered users have the possibility to change or delete the data collected during registration at any time, as long as there is no statutory retention requirement. On request we will report to you which personal data was collected and stored. Furthermore, if requested, we correct or delete your data, as long as there is no statutory retention requirement. If you have questions, or you want to request a correction or the deletion of your personal data, please use the contact data provided at the bottom of this document.
In order to offer paid services, we ask for further data. That applies for example for payment information.
To ensure the safety of your data while being transferred to our site, we use encryption technologies (such as SSL) over HTTPS, reflecting current technical standards.
If you leave comments or author other content on this website, we store the IP-address, the username or name, email address, as well as the date and time of submission. We collect these for security reasons, because the provider may be held responsible for non-lawful content (such as illegal propaganda, insults, etc.), even if created by a third party. In such cases this data serves to determine the identity of the author.
If you contact us using the online form or using email, we store the information provided by you, as to answer or process your request.
Embedding services and content from third parties
Our service may include content and services from other providers. For example, this may be maps provided by google-maps, video from YouTube, or graphics and images from other webpages. In order for this data to be accessed and displayed in the user’s browser, it is necessary to transmit the IP-address. These providers (called “third-party providers” from now on) may therefore be aware of the IP address of the user.
Even while trying to use only third-party providers who use the IP-address solely for the purpose of delivering content, we have no influence over if and how the IP-address may be stored. This may happen, amongst others, for statistical purposes. Whenever we are aware that the IP address is being stored, we will notify our users.
This webpage uses so called cookies. These are small text files, which are stored by the server on your computer. Cookies serve primarily two purposes: They help us to make it easier for us to navigate through our services, and allow for the correct display of this website. Usage of script libraries and font libraries (for example Google Webfonts)
In order to display our content in all browsers correctly and graphically appealing, we use various script libraries and font libraries, such as for example google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). To avoid reloading, Google Webfonts are transferred into your browser’s cache. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or rejects them, content will be displayed with alternate fonts.
The use of script libraries or font libraries automatically entails a connection to the provider of the library. It is theoretically possible, albeit it is currently no clear, if or for what purposes, the provider of such libraries may collect data.
Embedded YouTube Videos
On some of our pages we may embed YouTube videos. Provider of the respective plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you are logged into your YouTube account at that moment, then YouTube can connect your surfing activity with you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
If you disable cookies for the Google Ad-Program, then you should not expect any such cookies while watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non personal usage data in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, then you have to block the storage of cookies in your browser.
