5/27/2019 18:35 P.M. Second session for the day
Hanns (H): So I would like to continue this.[See Part 1]
The Club beyond Time and Space (TCB): We are here.
H: I’ve been thinking about this some more, and then reading up on tonal scales, music frequencies and so on a bit. But before all this I had one insight.
TCB: State it.
[Sitting outside; distraction. OK, recalibrating.]
H: OK, when you said “You are the key to understanding,” this was not “just” and understanding of some question that we pose every day. It was to understand:
“who am I?”
and “what is my life to be?”
and “what is the meaning of (my) life?”
TCB: Go on.
H: So it is, shall we say, the big questions. And, of course, “I am the key” to understanding [these]. The key that holds the answers, and if not used right, locks them away. Is that good?
TCB: Yes, of course. However, the key also applies to “simpler” questions, but these [here] are of course important ones. Now, what else did you glimpse?
H: Well, then what is “I”? In our discussions, it is not a singular self, a finished entity, but a community of “strands” fit together as the raw material of this life. And it is “our” task, that is all these strands, to work themselves out into something harmonious.
TCB: And there you go: you want to form some harmony in life. All your voices, your strings, have to sing together and harmonize.
So if one is “out of key”…
… then it won’t harmonize.
That was really the other key insight you had, that key, yes, it means something like a base-key, but really it is the whole scale, the whole chord, the whole composition that has to be overall “in key.”
Only then can there be consonance.
Otherwise there is dissonance.
Now, you looked up the words and what did they mean?
H: They are related to “consonant” (as opposed to a vowel). It all means “sound together:” com-sonate (with-sound). So to be in “consonance” is to sound together, harmoniously.
TCB: … that all sub-strings, all sub-strands, all have to be tuned right, in the right ratios, and then be struck right together, playing right together. If you can do that in your life, find a harmony between all, or most, of your strands, your strings, then you create a beautiful experience.
Now, disharmony, dissonance, has its purpose [,too]. It is when it does not form a natural whole, but something stands out again. That is the question, unanswered. Any question. At that point there is a dissonance.
It becomes the exercise to bring everything back into key, your key, and sometimes that is done in various ways.
That is, in part, too, the Gates of Truth. These are access points to the stillness that connects. To your key. To the universal key. For, as we said, there are layers of understanding, but there is the universal understanding, and that is the universal key within all of us.
H: Loosing it [the connection] now.
TCB: Well, you did state some more insights, and there is always more to it.
Let’s leave it at that.
Go listen for your key a bit.
Just be, and listen.
Find that tuning, and just be.
So I sat and just meditated a bit, just dwelled in being, listening, seeing, experiencing, not blocking, letting it flow. And it felt good. Harmonious.
Read the next dialogue on this topic from the following morning [coming soon].
Namaste — I bow to you and the Divine in you.
