I dedicate this site to the memory of my stepdaughter, Heather, who was murdered on Thanksgiving 2017. I want to chronicle some of the events and spiritual insights that happened. It is my hope that this may help some other souls who stumble upon this site. Maybe some good can come off this after all (read more here).  ~ May 2018

All That Is

Mind over Matter: different than what you think it is

Mind over matter is typically seen as the mind affecting matter, that is, to cause a change in an external situation. But all possible situations already exist, thereby nothing can ever be changed but can only be chosen. Thus, mind over matter becomes making a choice -- a choice, unlike others, made with conviction.

Is there a Past?

Is there a past? Or only the present? Evidence from quantum physics shows that we may choose the past in the present.

It from Bit? Information, Digital Physics, and the Neuron

The universe (the it) can be seen as information (the bit): electrons coming in and out of existence are like bits. But any digital representation is only a sampling of a deeper whole. By taking the model of neurons connected in a net, we also have discrete element (the neurons), yet a more holographic whole emerges.

Information and Context

Information is always regarded in a context and thus yields different meaning. Even the body itself, or an experiment that looks for information, is a context that is only capable of seeing certain patterns.

Maya: Filtering and Measuring All-That-Is

Linking the sessions on cognitive filters with the ancient concept of maya, and realizing that maya is not an illusion, but a filtering of reality, whereby you, the filter (maya) and reality are not separate but all parts of the whole – All-That-Is – casting itself into experience.
