I dedicate this site to the memory of my stepdaughter, Heather, who was murdered on Thanksgiving 2017. I want to chronicle some of the events and spiritual insights that happened. It is my hope that this may help some other souls who stumble upon this site. Maybe some good can come off this after all (read more here).  ~ May 2018

It from Bit? Information, Digital Physics, and the Neuron

The universe (the it) can be seen as information (the bit): electrons coming in and out of existence are like bits. But any digital representation is only a sampling of a deeper whole. The other day I heard a song by Amy Winehouse, and I had a flash of memory recalling in exact detail the moment when I heard that she had died. It baffles me to think how much is stored in our brains, waiting to be recalled. So much lies in the background, part of each person’s story, making us who we are.
